Blueyes ✰ (poem excerpt)

come here, Blue Eyes
& look into mine;
i just want to make
sure they match the sky–
if so, we can talk
about your interstellar infinity
and mine–
and how we can entwine
to create our own starsign.

  1. Wonderful poem Eva, reminded me of this one I wrote on August 10, 2013 that was inspired by Florence + The Machine’s “Cosmic Love”, which also pairs nicely with your poem 🙂

“Coming Too Close To Comatose Cosmos”
    by Ry Hakari

Silver slivers dangling from your ears like wind chimes…
Slinking over each of your lovely seeking sky blue irises
Drifting like crocs and logs over all your swamp green circles
Flitting by like comet arrows in your peachy brown nebulae
Passing clouds are reflected in all your beautiful pupils
I rarely see your eyelids, invisible nightmare Eve of Reverie
So I sometimes assume you’re perchance daydreaming of me
Lost in the same limbo, looking through the windows of your soul
Imprisoned in your head, in the labyrinth of lies of husband and wife
